Charlotte Josephine Chew, 77, of Taneytown died Friday, March 30, 2012 at Country Companions Assisted Living in Taneytown. Born August 3, 1934 in Finksburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice Williams Chew.
Charlotte was employed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers for 32 years. She is survived by several cousins and her extended family at Country Companions. She will always be remembered by leading the residents in exercise sessions.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD with Pastor Les Sims of Taneytown Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Chapel Cemetery in Gamber. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
