Charles Edward “Buck” Warren, Jr., 85, of Taneytown, died on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at BridgingLife Hospice Dove House in Westminster after losing his battle with Covid-19 and viral pneumonia. Born December 16, 1935 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Warren, Sr., the late Ida (Teal) Brothers and step-father, the late Dan Brothers. He was the devoted husband of the late Juanita (Carmel) Warren.
Buck worked in maintenance for several area businesses over the years. He attended Oakland United Methodist Church in Sykesville during his younger years. He loved his big sister, cold beer, cooking, fishing, hunting, swimming, playing ice hockey, roller skating, going to yard sales, making homemade wine, and playing games with his kids.
Surviving are his children, David Warren and wife Linda of Gamber, Cheri Carrigo and husband Ron of Taneytown, Rocky Warren and wife Michelle of Port Orchard, WA, Danny Warren and wife Linda of Hanover, PA, and Kathy Brady and husband James of Berkeley Springs, WV; sister, Kitty Hill of Sykesville; brother, David Brothers and wife Barbara of Hampstead; step-children, Mike, Robbie, and Sabrina; grandchildren, Corrie, Stephanie, Danielle, Holly, Danielle, Leah, Michael, Andy, Sean, Chris, Brett, and Chris; 12 great-grandchildren; a niece; and 4 nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Rocky and Danny Brothers.
A private service will be held for family to celebrate Buck’s life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Buck’s name to the American Cancer Society, 405 Williams Court, Suite 120, Baltimore, MD 21220.
