Catherine Lenora Hahn, age 91, of Keymar, Maryland, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born August 15, 1923 in Johnsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Elias Earl and Bertha Lenora (Crum) Haifleigh. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, James Monroe Hahn and devoted daughter, Peggy Louise Hahn of Thurmont.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and wife, homemaker and gifted seamstress. Catherine was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Taneytown. She worked at Borenstein Manufacturing in Taneytown and Butte Knit Company in Westminster retiring in 1982. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and loved growing red geraniums. Surviving in addition to her husband and daughter is a sister, Mary Loy of Taneytown, and many nieces, nephews and their spouses. She was predeceased by brothers, Grayson and Ralph Haifleigh.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday September 17, 2014 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD, with the Rev. Stacy Marsh officiating. Interment will follow in Keysville Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
