Carolleen F. Griffith, age 69, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at her sons home in Littlestown, Pennsylvania following a battle with cancer.
Born March 7, 1945 in Carroll County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Jos L. Mitchell and Mildred Irene (Naill) Hawkins.
She is survived by sons, John Fogle and fiancée Lynn Bledsoe of Littlestown, PA, Dale Bigham of Taneytown, and Ed Fogle of Gettysburg, PA; daughter, Juanita Griffith of Taneytown; brother, Jimmy Hawkins and wife Debbi of Towson; sister, Bonnie Krezak of Florida; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Daryl Bigham and a sister, Beverly Bigham.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery in Harney, Maryland.
