Caroline S. Warehime, age 76, of Taneytown, died Sunday August 9, 2009 at her home.
Born September 11, 1932 in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Hazel D. Gladhill Shriner. She was the loving wife of 55 years to D.Ray Warehime.
Caroline enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, quilting, singing, sewing, working with children in the 4-H and spending time with her family. She worked as a teacher for Carroll County Public Schools for several years. She then spent her time as a housewife and raising her children.
Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Steven C. Warehime of Taneytown and Kevin S. Warehime of Essex, a daughter and son in law, Donna and Bruce Fleharty of Taneytown; grandchildren, Jennifer M. Cahoon, Sarah R. Kemp, Joeseph K. and Brandon D. Warehime, Bryce W., Danielle R Fleharty, Sheldon C. Warehime, Ruslan D, and Hanna C. Fleharty; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Connor Black-Cahoon, Makenzie Cahoon, and Lena Kemp.
She was predeceased by a sister Gertrude Miller.
A joyous, informal celebration of her life will be held on Saturday August 15, 2009 at 11 a.m at her home, 2211 Feeser Road N., Taneytown Maryland.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
