Born May 1, 1948 in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of Pauline Allen Jockisch of Inverness, Florida and the late Virgil E. Jockisch.
Bruce was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a drummer. He enjoyed music.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Adam Jockisch and daughter, Corinn “Corey” A. Jockisch, both of Canada.
A graveside service will be held this summer in Bushnell National Veterans Cemetery in Florida.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, Westminster.
