Brenda Kay Oberholzer, 59, of Emmitsburg, passed away peacefully at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., July 28, 2021. Born September 23, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Robert Grant Rowe and Eleanor May Rowe, nee Bricker; loving wife of Samuel Eugene Oberholzer, Sr., whom she married in July of 1985; beloved mother of Samuel Eugene Oberholzer, Jr., Shawn Alan Oberholzer, and Seth Robert Oberholzer; devoted grandmother of Bladen Robert, Sierra Nicole, and Jaycee Lynn Oberholzer.
Brenda was a CNA at Quincy Home for many years and for Comfort Keepers for years. She always enjoyed playing BINGO, taking long rides during the week or on the weekend, and loved the color purple, Eeyore, and ice cream. She loved her family and friends and always did for others even when she had little to give. Brenda nursed and cared for both her parents when they were ill. She will be truly missed by many and may she rest in peace.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 136 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown (21787) There will be food after the service with a purple balloon release in her memory.
