Born July 5, 1936 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Oscar K. New, Sr. and Betsy Belle (Shields) New.
Surviving are sisters, Joyce Crossman of Va., and Nancy New of Tx.; brothers, Kent New of N.C., and Ron New of Va. She was predeceased by brothers, Ray and Dave New.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. Burial will follow in Carrollton Church of God Cemetery in Finksburg.
