Bettie Jean (Young) Beauchamp

Bettie Jean Beauchamp, 90, of Westminster, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 17th, 2024 at Brightview Assisted Living in Westminster where she lived with her sister. Born November 23, 1933 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Young and Evelyn Agatha Young, nee Troxell. She was the sister of William C. Young, John T. Young, Shirley Young, and was predeceased by her brother, Charles R. Young.

She was a life long member of St. John Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minster for over 26 years, a member of the Wisdom Club, and volunteered with the St. John Health Care Ministry. She retired in April of 1986 after 31 years of service as a Data Supervisor for C&P Telephone where she was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster 21157, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11a.m., by the Rev. Fr. Mark Bialek, her pastor. Interment will follow the Mass in St. John Catholic Church Cemetery, Westminster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Ms. Beauchamp’s name to the St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
