Jane Marshall, age 73 of Westminster, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Carroll Hospital Center. She was born September 14, 1935 in Baltimore, the daughter of the late Ralph W. and Anna Marie Brewer Green. She was the wife of Brendon L. Marshall, Jr., his wife of 53 years. She was a member of St. John’s (Leister’s) Lutheran Church. She belonged to the ladies auxiliary of the Moose Lodge #897 of Westminster and Fraternal Order of Eagles. She retired after 10 years from Random House and was a member of the alumni.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Ray C. Marshall of New Oxford, PA, Connie I. and her husband Henry Johnson of Taneytown, Brendon L. Marhsall III, Lewis E. Marshall, Jane T. Marshall and Vernon L. Marshall all of Westminster; brother, Albert Green of Dundalk, MD; close friends, Betty Bowers and Shirley Woods; also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by siblings, Gloria Ann Keller, Alverna Bellamy and Ralph Green, Jr.
A funeral service will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at St. John’s (Leister’s) Lutheran Church, 827 Leister’s Church Road, Westminster with Rev. David R. Bare officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster and 10:00 am until time of service Saturday at the church.
