Anna (Czerwinski) Walsh

March 27, 1936 — June 26, 2017

Anna Cecelia Walsh, 81, of Finksburg, died early Monday morning, June 26, 2017 at Bridgepoint Hospital in Washington, DC.  Born March 27, 1936 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Novak) Czerwinski.  She is predeceased by her husbands, Howard E. Harpel, Jr in 1979 and Douglas B. Walsh in 2012.

Anna was employed as a Billing Clerk for Gould, Inc. in Finksburg for many years.  She enjoyed fishing, watching and feeding birds, reading, working on jigsaw puzzles and going to Charles Town Racetrack.  She was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Parker.

Surviving her are her daughter, Patricia Stonesifer and husband, Larry, of Charlotte Hall; son, Howard E. Harpel III and wife, Michelle of Finksburg; Step-son, Terry D. Walsh of Westminster; a grandson, Parker Stonesifer; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers, Edward, James and Conrad Czerwinski.

A funeral service will be held at 11: 00 AM on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, with Pastor Ray Newman officiating.  Burial will follow in Carrollton Church of God Cemetery, Finksburg.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
