Anna Sue Sowers, age 89, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Transitions Nursing Center in Sykesville, Maryland.
Born December 28, 1920 in Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late William Alva and Eva (Thompson) Smith. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Marvin Samuel Sowers.
Anna was a local artist who especially loved painting.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughter Karen Goldsborough and fiancée Ken Redden of Stevensville, MD, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Services and interment will be private.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown, Maryland.
