Ann Theresa Kratz

Ann Theresa Kratz, 92, of Taneytown, passed away peacefully at her residence, Saturday, July 6, 2024.  Born Thursday, May 19, 1932 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Lee and Marcella Wright, nee Dowling.  She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Paul Kratz, III; devoted mother of Frank Paul “Skip” Kratz, IV and his wife Joan Lynn, and Judith Ann “Judy” Kratz and her husband Sharif Rushdi; loving grandmother of Trish Rogers and her fiancé Joe Guthmann.  She was predeceased by her siblings Lawrence Wright and Mary Catherine Flynn.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 136 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown, (21787) with a Funeral Mass being celebrated 10 am., Friday, July 19, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 44 Frederick Street, Taneytown, (21787).  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Online condolences may be offered at www.myersdurborawfh.com.

Ann's loving and outgoing spirit will be deeply missed, but she will be lovingly remembered and celebrated by her family and her dear friends. We shall miss her terribly but we are comforted that she is once again in the arms of her beloved husband Frank.
