Ann Elizabeth Ihm, 89, of Taneytown died peacefully Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born March 21, 1924 in Altoona, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Helen Brown Cramer. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Ihm who died in 1972.
Ann worked as a licensing clerk for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for many years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with family.
Surviving are daughter, Sandra Smith and husband James of Taneytown; son, James Ihm of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Thomas Smith and wife Amy of Fairfield, PA, Susan Miller and husband Mark of Taneytown, Ben Ihm and wife Jamie of Omaha, NE, and Adam Ihm and wife Megan of Wichita, KS; and great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Tyler, Alex, Emmitt, and Lucy Ihm. She was predeceased by sisters, Lillian Hoffman, Julia Thompson, and Betty Wagner.
A graveside service and inurnment will be held at a later time at Alto Rest Cemetery in Altoona, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD, 21157.
