Andrew Councilman Fisher III, age 70 of Hampstead died Sunday November 21, 2010 at University of Maryland Hospital. He was born February 8, 1940 in Pikesville, MD, son of the late Andrew C. II and Mary E. Neal Fisher. He was the husband of Karen K. Wilson Fisher, his wife of 46 years. He worked as a distributor for auto parts. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 1961-1964. Andrew collected model railroad trains.
In addition to his wife he is survived by children, Robin Lynn Mitter of Hampstead, Andrea Kay Cotterell of Pennsylvania and Tammy R. and husband, John Witter of Westminster; siblings, Robert N. Fisher of Hanover, PA and Mary E. Badillo of Texas; grandchildren, Brooke Fisher, J.J. Cotterell, Andrew Mitter, Haylee, Matthew and Brianna Witter; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, 12 noon at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Pastor Steve Hrea officiating.
Interment will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6:00 to 9:00 pm and Wednesday 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
