Amy Lynn White, 43, of Fairfield, PA died peacefully Friday, March 21, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born August 11, 1970 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of Danielle Fink of Littlestown, PA and Mark White of Taneytown.
Amy worked at Quad Graphics in Fairfield, PA for 22 years. She enjoyed traveling, and had visited Mexico, Canada, Central America and many of the Caribbean Islands. She was a proud “Parrot Head” who loved attending Jimmy Buffett concerts. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan. She loved her family, her friends, and her pets. Amy was known as “the life of the party.”
Surviving in addition to her parents are daughter, Arianna White of Thurmont; brothers, Richard White and wife Jodie of Abington, PA, Robert White and wife Kim of Fairfield, PA, Joseph White of Hagerstown, and Dean White of Fairfield, PA; step-father, Bernie Fink of Fairfield, PA; niece, Scarlett White; and nephews, Zach and Nick White.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
