Allard “Al” Maggard, age 57, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at his home.
Born February 14, 1956 in Dunham, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Burton and Lula May (Young) Maggard. He was the husband of the late Patricia Robertson Maggard.
He was a long time warehouse worker for Gardiners Furniture in Westminster. He enjoyed yard sales and flea markets.
Surviving are daughter, Melissa A. Maggard of Taneytown; sons, Jason A. Maggard of Westminster and Jess A. Maggard and wife Kathy of New Oxford, PA; grandchildren, Ashley N. Maggard of Derwood, MD, Alexandra P. Metts of Hanover, PA, and Christopher A. Maggard of New Oxford, PA; great-granddaughter, Amy E. Metts of Hanover, PA; brother, Glines (Dennis) Maggard of Keymar, MD; sister, Virginia Maggard Stultz of East Berlin, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 6 p.m. until the time of a Celebration of His Life Memorial Service at 8 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster.
