Alice Jeanette Honeycutt, 84, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Seasons Hospice in Randallstown, Maryland.
Born October 24, 1933 in Carroll County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry Montrose and Mary L. Chew. She was predeceased by her husband, David “D.L.” Honeycutt in 2006.
Alice was an office cleaner for the Bair family for many years. She enjoyed yard sales and going out to local resturants to eat.
Surviving her are caregiver, Betty Skahill of Westminster; daughter, Mary Alice Porter and husband John of York, PA; sons, Harry M. Honeycutt and wife Addie of Lakeland, FL, and Ricky D. Honeycutt and wife Darleen of Littlestown, PA; granddaughter, Christina May and husband Lee; grandson, Ron Rutherford; and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Honeycutt and husband Bill of Chambersburg, PA; sister-in-law, Lilly Blevins of TN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by brothers, Dan and Albert Chew and by sister, Margaret Miller.
A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Carrollton Church of God Cemetery with John C. Morrill funeral celebrant officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, in Westminster, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
