Albert Ruppel Schulz, 80, of Taneytown, Carroll Vista, formerly of Westminster, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Carroll Hospital Center.
Born February 11, 1930 in Geisen, Germany, he was the son of the late Frederick Wilhelm and Katharina Ruppel Schulz. His wife, Mary Lou Fadum Schulz, predeceased him in 2003.
Albert graduated from Catonsville High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps. He was employed by Academy Radio & TV in Catonsville and then he and his wife owned and operated an audio and electronics business in California.
Being the last surviving member of his immediate family, Albert is survived by many close friends.
A private burial will be held at a later date in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills. There will no public services.
