Albert John Schubert, age 95 of Westminster, died February 7, 2008 at Elternhaus Assisted Living in Dayton, MD. He was born July 11, 1912 in Baltimore, the son of the late Charles and Margaret Schleuter Schubert.
He was the husband of the late Lillian V. Sanford Schubert who died in July 2003. Before retirement he worked as a production manager for Mrs. Filbert’s in Baltimore for 47 years. He was a member of Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Carol Lee and Walter Murray of Roseville, Calif.; daughters Marian E. Phillips of Laurel and Janice E. Weber of Rockville; sons and daughters-in-law Jack and Sue Lynn of Westminster and Thomas and Carolyn Schubert of Columbus, Ohio; sisters Betty Circle of California and Shirley Stolting of Texas; grandchildren Cory and Brian Simpson, Barry and Cheri-Lynne Phillips, Caryn Short, Christine Boore, Laura and Jennifer Weber, Bethany Kegley and Gregory Schubert; great grandchildren Garrett and Amanda Short, Nathan and Hayley Boore and Grant Kegley; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter Betty Jane Schubert and brother Charles Schubert.
A funeral service will be held Monday 11:00 AM at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Pastor F. Stephen Wall officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
