Agnes LaRue (Stephan) Miller, age 90, life-long resident of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Golden Living Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Westminster.
Born November 11, 1922 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late John K. and Bessie A. (McGee) Stephan. She was predeceased by her husband George H. Miller in 2010.
She was a graduate of Westminster High School Class of 1939, and was a life-long member of St. John (Leisters) Evangelical Lutheran Church in Westminster. She spent her working career as a sales associate and office clerk for G.C. Murphy and J.C. Penney department stores in Westminster.
Surviving are a son, Dale H. Miller of Westminster and a granddaughter, Chelsea E. Miller of Falling Waters, W. Virginia.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son, Sidney D. Miller in 2008.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at St. John (Leisters) Evangelical Lutheran Church, 827 Leisters Church Road, Westminster with her pastor the Rev. Kristin Dubsky officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery.
