Adam Curtis Marjarum, age 52, of Quincy, Pennsylvania, died on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Waynesboro Hospital in Waynesboro, PA. Born on April 12, 1963 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Gail (Denny) Thompson Guy of Columbia, MD, and the late David Wayne Marjarum.
His devoted and loving wife of 20 years, Denise Lynne (Bowen) Marjarum survives him; along with daughters, Nikki and Kelly Marjarum; and a sister, Elizabeth Yocum of Grafton, W.Va.
Adam was a horologist and owned and operated his own antique clock sales and repair business the “Barking Clock Company” for the past few years. Prior to going into business for himself he was a retail manager for various companies. He enjoyed attending auctions, cooking for his family, and mowing his lawn. He most especially enjoyed time spent with his family, the every Friday dinner ritual, and loved animals of all kinds. An avid clock collector, he was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock collectors.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, Maryland. The family invites friends to visit with them from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
