John George Rohr, 91, of Westminster, MD, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Long View Healthcare Center in Manchester, MD. Born April 8, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late George and Stephanie Rohr. He was the husband of the late Helen (Verna) Rohr.
John was an electrical engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Army and National Guard, and served during World War II.
He is survived by daughters, Denise Laird of Westminster, MD, and Ellen Lebbad and husband Jim of Stockton, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Jacquelyn, Christina, Nicole, and Anthony; 3 great-grandchildren, Jayden, Juliana, and Leo. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jacquelyn.
Services are private. Interment will be at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
