John Wayne Hager, age 54, of Frederick, Maryland, went to be home with the Lord, on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born November 13, 1956 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Richard and Ruth (Bledsoe) Hager. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 30 years, Mary (deIzcue) Hager. John owned and operated his own residential remodeling contracting business for the last 30 years in the Washington Metropolitan area. He was a man of great faith and found his strength through his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Since moving to Frederick he attended New Life Foursquare Church. His passions were God, his family, supporting Christian missions, rescuing dogs with his wife, and riding his Harley. Surviving in addition to his wife are his siblings: Darlena Hager, Mick Hager, Mark Hager, and Diana Hager Eadie, along with nieces, nephew, and close friends. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the New Life Foursquare Church on 5913 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703. Pastor Dave Hendershot officiating. Interment will be private.
