Blake Nolan Leap, of Taneytown, age 40, died suddenly on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in Salisbury, MD. Born October 23, 1982, he was the son of Virginia “Ginger” Kroeger and the late John Jerome Leap. He was the loving partner to Kara Krauss for more than 3 years.
Blake was a survivor of stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; he was diagnosed at the age of 23. He was employed as a Purchasing Manager for M R Stone in Monrovia for the last 6 years. He was a huge fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. He enjoyed time with his daughter Farah, friend Kara and cousin Harry Horney at his mother’s beach home in Delaware. He enjoyed life, had “no cares” and had a big heart, “he was brave”.
He is survived by and will be sorely missed by his daughter, Farrah Leap; mother, Ginger Kroeger, friend Kara Krouss and cousin, Harry Horney and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 26 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home. 136. E Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD 21787 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
